Pancake Day 2008 is officially February 5, 2008. Because that day is Super Tuesday in the United States, a day when a large portion of the primary elections will be held, The Free Pancake Day ("National Pancake Day") held by The International House of Pancakes - IHOP (A US based restaurant chain) has been moved to February 12, 2008.

The IHOP Event provides free pancakes for visitors and raises money for the Children's Miracle Network. For more information visit the official IHOP Pancake Day Site.

This special Pancake Day Pancake Recipes themed Recipe Carnival provides a collection of pancake recipes with some of the most interesting and innovative recipes for pancakes that we have seen in a long time.

The spectacular variety of recipes for pancakes provided by our carnival participants should give you plenty of ideas for cooking your own pancakes on the real pancake day of February 5, 2008.

A previous Pancake Recipes Carnival was held back in May 2007 and in that Recipe Carnival we did a Famous Blogger Survey of Famous Bloggers and whether they had any pancake recipes or anything else about pancakes posted on their blogs.
